Bought for our 9 year old grandson.l Initially he found it very challenging but after a few hours was happily on his way. He is thrilled with fact that he can carry on making 25 models - and then be creative himself as well. Having a motor was the cherry on top and opens up other creative ideas as well. All steel except for hubcaps etc which one would expect to be strong (is strong) plastic due to the need to be able to bend Altogether a great hit.
