Our little man just loves bees, so when I saw this toy it was like it was made for him! Yes, he is developing his fine motor skills by placing the bees in & out of the hives (though only with his fingertips & not with the tongs - he is 2 yrs old) but also, he is building with the hives, identifying the colours, counting the hives & bees & engaging in imaginative play by \'buzzing\' the bees around our home. A good simple toy proving to be lots of fun.

I was so excited when I recieved this product. The quality is unfalted which I have always found with plan toys. The children I teach continue to love this product and it opens so many learning opportunities. Early mathematical, scientific and communication. Fine motor control and social learning are also present. My group love this product and continue to amaze me with what discussions and learning come from it.
