Beechwood Hall is a wonderful home with working lights. It has two floors and opens up to give access to all five rooms. The two lights are interchangeable and each can be turned on and off. There's a landing that can be added to the first floor and a reversible base for the ground floor which can be turned over to create a garden area.

Beechwood Hall looks beautiful. However, be careful as all the pictures on the box only show it full of furniture and characters so it can be a real disappointment for children when they open it up only to discover it doesn\'t come with anything at all.
We bought it for our 5 year old and luckily warned her about that but I could see she still hoped I was wrong and that everything might just magically appear when she opened it up!
The rooms are really small too
We bought the bathroom, kitchen and girls bedroom set and when you put the furniture in the rooms there is barely enough room to play!
For younger children the Sycamore Cottage house is a much better option, bigger rooms make it easier for smaller hands to get in and out and set things up.

We have been collecting the Sylvanian Families since 1985. The original version may be collectable items by this time. We are constantly looking for a new model addded to oour huge collection, and when we couldn\'t find this paricular model house locally, we went online and bang - found one at Yogee Toys because of its easy-to-find site and beautiful presentation. My girls Gwenivere (8) and Aaurora (7) love this set. They adore rabbits, and setting up this quality material house and lights with perfect miniature furniture and rabbits of all sizes is a gift for their imagination. They spend hours creating stories and setting up house. All other suppliers were out of stock, thanks Yogee toys for supplying it.
