I bought this game after thoroughly enjoying the Zingo game. We are not disappointed! This neat game that is based on numbers from 0 to 12, is something that both my 6 and 4 year old enjoy and can play alone together if they want to. The youngest is practicing her number and word recognition skills, not just counting skills, using the green side of the boards, while the eldest plays on the red side where she has to practice addition. When they play alone my older daughter plays teacher when helping the younger one count upto 12. I am amazed at how quickly the younger one has picked up on the number patterns (which are similar to patterns on a dice). Love watching them learn in so many areas and enjoy themselves too!
Excellent hand book giving extra activity ideas. In addition to their tips we also get the oldest to make up 3 and 4 digit numbers, that we call out, with the tiles, which she takes great pride in doing. The younger one enjoys tracing the numbers.
A fabulous game with many possibilities for variety in play. Sturdy box keeps the boards and dispenser together. The only tiny criticism would be the dispenser which needs to be held close to the bottom when moved to prevent jamming of tiles. The kids soon work out the knack though and it in no way detracts from their enjoyment of the game!
