A little disappointed with this truck when compared to the flip n tip Fred (and it was certainly less popular with the children). The rear door fails to latch properly and constantly falls open when being pushed around. Very frustrating for master 3yo. The \"realistic engine sounds\" are very very loud!

All 3 kids love this, even the 7 yo old, safe with the littlies and still exciting for the bigger kids. Great interactive play, and can extend the play with other toys from the WOW series. Really hardy, we\'ve had some of our WOW toys for over 4 years and still going strong.

I brought this toy for my three year old. He received the Wow fire engine for his 1st birthday and still loved it. As he was showing an interest in rescue vehicles I thought it would be worth the price. it was.
Firstly, at every retail outlet I looked this was priced around the $70 mark. This site was by far the cheapest, including postage - so that was a bonus!
The ambulance does not dissapoint. My son absolutley adored the vehicle, he loved the characters (the paramedic with the stethascope, the boy with the broken leg etc) he loved having components that he could remove and play with (the stretcher and wheelchair). He hasn't shown a lot of interest in the x-ray or the little touches like the mirror etc - I think I found these more fun to play with! However being able to slide the door, open the back ramp are all things he loves doing.
In the box came a backdrop of a hospital mad eout of cardboard. We have been using this to add to our "play" and it has reinforced to him the whole concept of what an ambulance does and who might need it.
Unforutnalty he dropped the vehicle on the ground not too long ago and it developed a crack in the top above the ramp. I was able to free the ramp door and it hasn't caused any further issues, except I am now aware that the vehicle is slightly more vulnerable than I gave it credit for!
All in all this is a fantastic toy, and at this price I think its really worth it.

WOW is certainly correct. This was a fantastic purchase for our 2y.o as it withstands his play but is still very realistic. The motorised ambulance which requires no batteries and great little stretcher & wheelchair inc people means lots to keep him interested in & endless hours of fun for our little one!
